Sketched this while I was waiting for my boyfriend who was getting his hair cut and dyed. I'm always reading Creepypasta, and I think every Creepypasta fan either loves or knows of the legendary Slender Man!It was difficult not having my graphite pencils on me to make this, so I had to use a mechanical pencil, but I'm still happy with how it turned out. If you haven't already, go read some Slender Man Creepypastas, and after that check out Marblehornets on Youtube, their series of videos based off of Slender Man are very creepy and very well done!

I really liked this at first glance, showing him coming out of some sort of darkness, and the uniquely-shaped tentacles. Most people don't really draw them branching or thickly. It took me a while to notice it, but the somewhat-hidden Operator symbol was a nice touch. However, I'm sad to say that I do, in fact, see a few flaws. The left shoulder and his chest on that side don't seem to quite look right, whether due to imperfect anatomy or lack of clarity. The visibility of the ribcage's shape adds to his otherworldly or supernatural appearance (as do the nearly skeletal hands and gaunt skull), but I feel it may have been somewhat overdone, at least in comparison to how wide the shoulders seem to be.
Overall, I think this is a very well-drawn and original portrayal of the Slenderman, despite its minor flaws.
