I absolutely love this, be I kinda wanna agree with Preradkor, it does seem rather slim.

However, as someone who seems to have a professional record(seemingly) on reconstructing prehistoric animals, I wanna ask: What drove you to create Basilosaurus as a thin, more slim predator?

Is it due to it having thought to be a much more active hunter, even going as far as to hunt over whales, such as Dorudon? Heres my take on reconstruction :3

Basilosaurus Diagram

I have tried to reconstruct the animal for a teacher of mine, and I'm currently reconstructing Pakicetus for them as well, all for educational purposes on evolution(of course.

I wanted to ask, genuinely for interest and to try to gain a better understanding of the animal, and how to best reconstruct it, as I want to try to redo this piece one day.

It would be helpful to get some insight ^w^
